VMware vSphere: Not your average Cloud-OS..oh wait..the only Cloud-OS
WOW. What can I honestly say that hasn’t been broadcast, simulcast, blogged, tweeted or captured in moving picture. Not much is right.
Its overwhelming to say the least, but like most of us virt-heads I can say undeniably that I am proud to be a VMware partner and proud to be apart of this moment in history. With any luck your kids will be reading about this in the history books, and you lived it, mark the date…its important.
So enough about that lets summarize shall we…
Very simply put-Cloud Enablement. Efficiency, Control, Choice were the targeted areas of improvement captured every so nicely in this tight little graphic.
So how is vSphere going to ferry me into the Next Generation Data Center? Well here is how, surprised? Beyond these here is how some of the included features align with the upper tier editions.
Beyond enterprise VMware has two additional editions slated for SMB’s, each includes 3 hosts (2 CPUs per)
